TIRANA WEEK OF ARCHITECTURE - WORKSHOPS / Call for Applications

TAW Second Call for workshop application:

You will be able to receive the notification of acceptance prior to August 03rd, 2012

All workshops organized within TAW are equivalent to an academic load of 3 credits according to the European Credit Transfer System - ECTS.

Applications for the Horisontal Workshop are closed. You are wellcomed to apply for the Vertical and Diagonal Workshop2.

Polis University as host institution of TAW-Tirana Architecture Week is delighted to announce the call of applications for all the interested participants willing to attend the TAW workshops.

Is it worth it? ABSOLUTELY YES! Tirana is a new architectural and urban playground urging for immediate thoughts and actions. We consider the emergency of these actions as a natural response based on the Albanian local conditions, whilst also providing contemporary solutions of global architectural relevance. It will definitely be an enriching experience in professional and personal terms!

Fees
There is a specific fee for each workshop and it covers only workshop expenses. All other cost (travel, accommodation, food etc.) is covered by the participants.

Accommodation:

Food:
Eating in Tirana is tasty and inexpensive. There is the possibility to dine at Polis University cafeteria where a large meal cost around 400-500Lek aprox. 2-3 Euros.

We encourage and support participants from the following countries: Kosova, Serbia,  Albania, Bulgaria, Macedonia, Croatia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Greece, Italy and Montenegro. At the same time we are absolutely pleased to receive applications from all over the world, this after all is supposed to be a valuable experience for everyone. We want also to highlight the regional approach of this event that implies an ulterior impacting factor in the spatial-social cohesion among Mediterranean and Balkan countries, as an integral part of a new European vision.
